Summary
Care Coordinator
Hedge End, Southampton
Full-time, permanent
Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm plus on call one weekday a week and one weekend every 6 weeks.
Salary £24,000pa
As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for the management of staff rotas, ensuring visits are allocated with consistency and in a timely matter. You will also be responsible for managing staff annual leave and accommodating any required training in rotas. You will be expected to maintain consistent communication with Support Workers/Care Assistants, building a good working relationship with them all and liaising with other professionals. Exceptional communication skills are essential as is a good level of computer literacy. The role is varied and fast paced and the post-holder will need to be comfortable with changing priorities and working efficiently.

Criteria
Experienced in scheduling/coordinating/ rota planning in the care sector
Experienced using a rostering system
Strong work ethic, organisation skills, and positive personality
Experienced in care calls
Take part in holding the ‘out of hours’ on-call phone
Skills and experience you should have:
Good literacy skills
Good presentation skills
Computer literate
Administrative experience
Full driving licence
Dedication and commitment
Effective team player
Good communication skills and time management
Free parking is available onsite. Salary depending on experience circa £24,000pa plus pension and generous holiday allowance.
