Summary
Demonstrate clinical leadership skills and evidence of specialist knowledge within renal. To lead and manage a team of nurses and nursing assistants on a day to day basis for the running of the renal ward, acting as a resource and clinical expert to nurses, nursing assistants, medical staff and patients. Ensure patient safety and quality is maintained consistently , ensuring the clinical governance framework is followed at all times Promote effective communication and teamwork at all levels Deputise in the absence of the ward sister.
