Summary

The ideal candidate: Has a desire to focus on their OT skills while working in an Adult Community LD team Keen to work holistically to meet the needs of people with Learning Disabilities Newly qualified OT or Band 5 wanting to develop experience in LD Likes working as part of a big MDT Able to work autonomously and manage their workload effectively Likes working in an environment of change and the opportunities that brings for improvement and development Has ideas and skills to contribute to our OT offer Our offer to you: Practice solely as an OT within a Learning Disability service with no care coordination or duty Receive monthly supervision from the lead OT Great development opportunity within the trust Get involved in the established Research and Development structures in Occupational Therapy, including specialist forums and valuable networks. Represent OT and the trust by attending conferences and relevant opportunities or events. Practice educator opportunities Regular OT meetings that include CPD activities such as reviewing new research/articles, sharing best practice, reflective space A bespoke 1:1 induction by Lead OT lead tailored to your specific needs.
