Summary

Main Duties and Responsibilities To assist the Principal CT Radiographer in delivering the CT Service working to agreed protocols. To assist in deputising for the Principal CT Radiographer in their absence. To undertake all radiographic duties within the department with supervisory responsibilities as appropriate. To be responsible for the care and comfort of the patient whilst in the department and throughout their examination. Responsible for the day to day clinical management of the CT department. Qualified to provide an independent CT Head reporting service to referring clinicians. To supervise and organise Radiology staff working in the CT department. To work as a senior member of the Radiology team in order to support the Principal CT Radiographer and Radiology Directorate Manager on operational and strategic issues. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
