Summary
Our client, a reputable carpet manufacturing company are seeking a reliable and skilled VNA Truck Operator join their team.
We are looking for a capable individual, as a VNA Truck Operator, you will be responsible for various warehouse tasks including stock putting away, order picking, loading delivery vehicles, and operating VNA trucks. Additionally, there will be a significant amount of manual handling involved, particularly for part pallet order picking.
Hours: Nominally 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Pay £11.90 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Operate VNA and forklift trucks to efficiently put away stock, pick orders, and load delivery vehicles
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of warehouse tasks while adhering to safety regulations
- Perform manual handling tasks, especially for part pallet order picking
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support the team
Requirements:
- Valid VNA truck and forklift driver certifications/licenses
- Proven experience in operating VNA trucks in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work occasional early shifts (7:00 am start) and overtime if required
- Ability to handle manual tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
