Summary
TODMORDEN
We are looking for a reliable experienced dog groomer to join our small team working in a small busy and friendly, fully equipped salon based in the lovely town of Todmorden, which is not far from Halifax, Rochdale and Burnley, 10 mins from Train/Bus Station.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
*Have a minimum two years professional grooming experience and preferably hold a grooming qualification
*Be confident working alone and helping to manage a Salon.
*Be able to work to a high standard with good attention to detail, style to Breed Standard
*Confident in grooming and handling all different types of dogs with different temperaments in a calm effective manner
*Reliable and trust worthy
must be confident and have a friendly manner at all times
*Must treat all dogs as if they are your own work the best care at all times
*Keep salon tidy and clean throughout the day with a big clean up after each day
*Take the best of care of all salon equipment and treat it with respect and care
*Must have excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be dealing with customers on a daily basis
*Can work alone if required
APPLICATION
*Portfolio of work to be sent by email along with previous work history/CV
*1 reference if possible from previous work place and or trainer.
Hours to be discussed, minimum of 24 hours but could agree more and 2 Saturdays a month to be worked.
This can be on an Employed basis or Self Employed renting a table could be an option.
