Summary
About the role
ZAFIRAH IT SOLUTIONS develop high quality WordPress websites which include Elementor page builder to allow our clients to make changes to their website without the need of an in house developer. Our websites are sold in two tier standards:
- Basecamp - WordPress Templated Rigid Design – locked down cheaper website package to enable business to have high quality websites for a low cost price.
- Ascent – Key Templated Pages Designed by our graphic design team that is replicated by our development team.
- Summit – Every page designed bespoke for the clients needs by the design team and built by our development team.
We’re looking for an experienced WordPress developer to join our team to help us build websites which pleases our clients
Responsibilities
• Taking XD designs and turning them into HTML pages
• Creating projects from start to finish
• Bug sourcing and fixing
• Assisting PPC & SEO team implement tracking
• Creating assets and amending pages to assist the PPC & SEO teams
• Attending client meetings to help the Account Management team communicate issues and wins
• Conduct training to help clients understand how to use the website after launch
Required Skills

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing custom WordPress websites built using Elementor.
• Proficiency in web development technologies, including
o HTML5,
o CSS,
o JavaScript
o PHP.
o jQuery
o MySQL
• Strong design skills and experience working with Adobe XD or Figma.
• Familiarity with industry best practices for web development, including accessibility, SEO, and security.
• API Experience
• Perform thorough testing of developed websites across various devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Debug and resolve any issues identified during testing, working closely with the team to ensure timely resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Reviewing peers projects, providing technical direction aligned to the commercial objectives of the agency
Nice to have skills
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools i.e: Git
- PHP Plugin development
- Configuration of web servers and deployment systems using Apache/Nginx, MySQL
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Minimum educational qualification : Graduation
