We’re looking to recruit a new Maintenance Manager for The Residence Inn, Manchester.

Joining the Aimbridge Portfolio of EMEA hotels in March 2024, The Residence Inn Manchester is an extended-stay hotel, based in the heart of Manchester. A day in the life of…

This role will see you play a key role in the strategic senior team with a key focus on delivering a great guest experience. You will be working on your own initiative to ensure that the hotel is always operating at the highest standards. You will manage all proactive and reactive maintenance, Capital Expenditure Plan, external contractors, and hotels maintenance team in line with the departmental budget. As the assigned Health and Safety Officer on site, you will support HOD’s to ensure all teams are correctly trained in the use of equipment and health & safety standards within the hotel.

What do we need from you?

As maintenance manager you should have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, knowledge of maintenance procedures and regulations, experience in managing maintenance teams, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement maintenance plans and budgets. You should also have knowledge of health and safety regulations and be able to prioritise tasks effectively.
