Summary

PART TIME HR Officer- Wincanton


20-24 hours- flexible on days/ hours( must work a Wednesday)


Hourly rate : £16.37 DOE, starting salary up to £17. 27, reviewed after 6 month probation


9 am start



Ideally CIPD Level 3 Min (or above) or Qualified by Exp

25 days plus 8 bank hols ( pro rata)

Person Spec


Essential:


Good communication skills at all levels of the company and both written and verbal.Computer literate including familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.


Organised and reliable at updating records and providing reports.


Able to prioritise and use initiative, discreet but approachable.



Desirable:


Experience of working in HR, familiarity with basic employment law and proven ability to create policy/procedure documents.










HR Administration













Personnel Records: Responsible for the up keep of staff Personnel records - electronically and on paper, in line with General Data Protection Act (GDPR) legislation and monitor production and completion of same.




Recruitment:


Assisting in preparation of HR adverts, induction packs, job descriptions, arranging interviews, through to appointment of new staff.

























































Temporary Staff:


Liaison with agencies in the recruitment of temporary staff and associated costs.




Induction:


Preparation of induction programme for new staff.



HR Reporting: Assist in the preparation and organisation of HR information including analyses and regular reports to the Board.




Company Policies:


Monitor changes in employment law and assist in the preparation and update of all company policy documents.





Performance Management:


Responsible for administration of skills matrices and annual IPRs.




Training:


Work with Managers to organise agreed/refresher training and maintenance of system of feedback and recording, preparation of a training plan.




HR Advice:


Liaison with external bodies - ie gov.uk; ACAS; FSB - for advice when required.



Integrated Management System (IMS)




Coordinates and updates intranet information.




Contributes to IMS documentation control within the company.




Responsibility for monitoring and contributing update of all IMS systems relevant to HR.






Health, Safety & Welfare



Responsible for day-to-day awareness and reporting of HS&W issues within the work area.




Acts as PA to Directors and cover for other DPA duties as required by Managers.
