Summary
HRGO are recruiting for a Chef on behalf of the University of Kent in Canterbury. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess the ability to prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet catering event deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience.
- Proficient in cooking a variety of dishes.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts during the summer season and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal (Summer), 8-hour shifts.
Hourly rate: £14-17ph.
