Summary
TeacherActive is working with a school in the Preston area that is looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant, who is confident and energetic in supporting children with SEN, ADHD, Autism, associated complexities and Mental Health. The school is currently rated as ‘GOOD’ on their OFSTED rating.
The School is passionate to inspire and motivate current an new pupils, so that they are able to develop their skills to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. The school offers tailored teaching and learning as they understand each pupil is different and so are their individual needs. The successful candidate will working closely with pupils in their academic and personal development.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have;
• Experience of working with SEND Children
• A passion for creating a supporting learning environment
• Strong communication skills
• Assisting the teacher will classroom preparation
• Working 1:1 and in group settings with pupils who require additional support
