Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teacher to join our talent pool in the East Riding of Yorkshire, providing long-term teaching cover for pupils across the SEN curriculum with immediate start. The position will initially be on a temporary basis to meet the needs of the specialist provision school and has the possibility to become permanent.

The independent Specialist Provision caters for students aged 11-18 years with complex needs including SEN, SEMH and ASD. Aiming to provide a bespoke person-centred curriculum that engages students in learning, building confidence, self-esteem and respect for others.

You will work collaboratively as part of the welcoming staff team, to promote consistency in learning, high achievement, positive wellbeing and be committed to providing an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all pupils within your care.

We welcome applications from experienced educators and offer competitive rates of pay up to £230, depending on your experience and the role requirements.

Your role as a SEN Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage SEN students in learning & build confidence.
- Adapt to the diverse needs of SEN students within your care.
- Maintain strong classroom management & promote high standards for learning.
- Plan, deliver and assess student progression across the curriculum.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a positive and child-centred staff team.

We are seeking a Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
