Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our talent pool in North Ferriby, providing ongoing 1:1 support for a SEN pupil within a mainstream Primary School. The position will initially be on a temporary basis to meet the needs of the pupil and is available with immediate start.

The vibrant village Primary School offers a warm and friendly place of learning, where pupils and staff feel valued as part of the whole school community. You will work in partnership with the existing staff team, to promote consistency in learning, high achievement, positive wellbeing and a commitment to the school values of kindness, respect and tolerance of others.

We welcome applications from experienced practitioners and offer competitive rates of pay up to £100, depending on your experience and the role requirements.

Your role as a 1:1 SEN TA:
- Support the Teacher to engage students in learning & build confidence.
- Adapt to the diverse 1:1 needs of the student within your care.
- Maintain strong classroom management & promote high standards for learning.
- Support students to positively progress, through suitable intervention.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a positive and child-centred staff team.

We are seeking candidates with:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
