SEN Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B21 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024 | 8:30am - 3:30pm
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school located in the Handsworth area. You will have the rewarding opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development and success of students who need additional support during their educational journeys. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full time basis from September, working the full academic year, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-1 support to a student with special educational needs
- Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Collaborate with other professionals to work towards the best outcomes for students
- Encourage active participation and engagement with learning
- Support students with their overall wellbeing by delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree
- Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential
