Summary


We are seeking a Band 6 Practice Based Educator to join the Surgical team at North Manchester General Hospital to deliver high quality, evidence based education to all member's of the surgical division.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual with a keen interest in Education and development to join the Surgical team at North Manchester General Hospital.

This exciting and newly developed role will focus on educating staff at all levels encouraging them to learn, develop and grow to their fullest potential in line with current national standards, you will ensure staff are supported to develop their core to undertake their role proficiently and work in conjunction with the senior nursing team, medical team, clinical education team and peers from other areas.



The successful applicant will be accountable to ensure our established workforce are kept up to date with their training requirements and that new starters to the departments are guided appropriately through the induction/initial integration process within the teams.

The successful candidate will also use their knowledge and skills within surgery to ensure current staff are up to date with new policies and guidance, you will also work alongside those staff who need to develop their skills in certain procedures ensuring all staff are competent.
