Summary
County Foods, a successful supplier of meat products, delicatessen and dry goods to the catering industry based in Poole, are currently recruiting a Trainee Sausage & Burger Operative to work within our busy day shift production team.
Following recipes for production of sausages and burgers for supply to both retail and the catering trade, you will produce finished products to our Award Winning standard. Ensuring procedures are followed in line with regulations set by the Food Standards, Hygiene and Health & Safety regulators, full training will be provided. Attention to detail is essential in this position.
You will also be required to perform various Production Operative tasks which may include; cleaning of machinery and work areas plus packing, weighing and labelling of products to standards assigned to you by your Manager / Supervisor.
WORKING HOURS
Full & Part-time hours are available (to be discussed at interview).
Monday to Friday, 4am start 1:30 pm finish (1 hour as unpaid lunch break)
Saturdays 4am start to 10:30am finish (30 min unpaid break)
Flexible with hours Monday to Friday (although set shifts will be agreed).
Every Saturday or Every other Saturday must be worked as part of contracted hours.
