Role purpose / summary
Working as part of the Cloud & IT Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining core Microsoft and Cloud technologies and to ensure all systems and applications are up and functioning smoothly.
- Managing and maintaining the Microsoft and Windows based Applications on a day-to-day basis
- Fault finding and diagnosis of issues within Microsoft/Windows Applications
- Providing out of hours support for deployments and maintenances
- Provide On-Call support
- Ensuring the Microsoft platform can support the Bank's growth
- Implementing the best practices for security and operational management
- Reviewing and challenging design documentation to improve efficiencies within the bank
- Find innovative ways to automate and improve current processes
- Documenting procedures and ensuring current procedures are up to date
- Build a better experience for colleagues and customers alike
- Any other duties as reasonably required by the role
Key Skills/ requirements
- You will have in-depEntra ID, MFA,MDE, CA Policy
- Cloud computing & Networking, MS Teams, MDM Intune, Certificate Authority, SCEP/NDES and Client/Server applications
- Microsoft SQL 2012/2016
- You will have in-depth experience as a hands-on IT Engineer, with strong knowledge on different cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure
- Expertise in upgrading and migrating Microsoft applications and Operating Systems to latest versions
- You may have a degree level qualification within IT, or equivalent experience in an IT related field such as Systems Development or Computer Science
- Microsoft / Azure Certifications/Training
