Summary
My client is looking for a Geography Lecturer to work at an Establishment around the Glastonbury area. This is a Part-time Temporary role to start ASAP on an ongoing basis and it will be teaching the A-Level students for 10 hours per week.
**They can be flexible with the days/times for the position**
To be considered YOU MUST HAVE:
• Recent experience working within a College setting
• A Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Experience of teaching A-Level Geography classes
• A current Enhanced DBS certificate

Job Specific Requirements
• Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
• A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum Experience of curriculum development
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
• Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
• Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department Proven organisational skills
• Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents.
