Summary
Hawkes Resourcing Group is currently seeking a motivated Forklift Operator We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual who is willing to work as part of a team in order to complete projects in the Grays area for this full time permanent career.
You will need your own transport as there is NO public transport near this place of work
40 hours per week 7.30am -4pm overtime is there also
Monthly paid directly by client as it’s a perm role after your training probation no agencies payroll fees all money paid directly to you by client
Immediate start £13
Duration : Permanent Full Time 7.30am -4pm *8 hour days
Benefits : overtime / Holiday pay / Pension
References will be required
```Responsibilities```
- Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate placement of goods
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
- Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory and materials
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any issues or malfunctions
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role ideally knowledge of Combi-forklift would be an advantage
- Valid forklift certification/license
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and materials handling techniques
- Proficient in operating a forklift in various environments, including tight spaces and high shelves
- Customer facing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking purposes
- Mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred
