Our client, a leading company in the Insurance industry, is looking for a permanent Data Quality Lead to join their Data team.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement data quality strategies and processes
* Ensure data standards and best practices are followed
* Develop a framework for data validation to assure data integrity for regulatory and strategic requirements
* Implement data validation rules in data quality tools ensuring the rules reflect data quality standards and requirements
* Analyse and identify data quality issues and recommend solutions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality
* Monitor and report on data quality metrics
* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that summarise data quality metrics, trends, and improvements providing a clear view of data quality
Key Skills:
* Background in data quality management with experience in data validation rule implementation
* Experience carrying out data profiling
* Demonstrated understanding of the importance of data quality and the impact on business objectives and risk management
* Strong understanding of data quality concepts and methodologies
* Experience with data profiling and data cleansing tools
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Technical proficiency in SQL, Power BI, DQPro
