Salary: £40,600 - £61,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The Resource Management Lead sits within SSEN Transmission Offshore Project Services function, enabling effective management of resources across the portfolio, including analysis, optimal allocation and utilisation. This role is also key in supporting the management of contingent worker resources and championing project services across the wider teams.

The responsibilities of the Resource Management Lead include:

- Establish processes for effective resource management, maintaining an overview of resource demand and utilisation and identify opportunities for re-allocation dependent on project needs.

- Set up and embed demand management process for Project Services, engage with projects to understand and plan resource demand and effectively allocate resources across the Offshore portfolio.

- Play a key role in contingent worker management, ensuring timely renewal or recruitment of contingent workers through approved suppliers to support projects needs.

- Identifying opportunities for enhancing resource management practices, keeping awareness of market trends in processes and tools related to large capital projects whilst driving process and technology improvements.

- Coordinate with HR and recruitment teams to support resource management activities as appropriate.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Extensive experience in resource management or related positions, with a track record of successful team leadership.

- Strong organisational and analytical skills to effectively manage resource related date and establish best practice.

- Solution focused individual unphased by pressure and unexpected challenges.

- Familiarity with contingent worker management, including renewal process and rate negotiations.

- Good stakeholder and relationship management, ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels (internal and external), gaining their collaboration, trust and support.
