Summary

Liaison, Communication and Working Relationships Assist in the development and maintenance of good working relationships with relevant statutory and voluntary agencies to facilitate access to a full range of appropriate services. Assist in the development of close links with the local community, promoting a greater understanding of mental health issues and eating disorders. Liaise with the Service Coordinator and other team members in the referral process for new people using services; ensuring the anonymity/confidentiality of people and parents/carers and potential referrals, are respected at all times. Work closely with other team members and partner agencies at all times to ensure the highest possible standards of support. Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation Accurately maintain all recording systems - paper based and computerised (including databases), ensuring compliance with First Steps ED procedures and Policies. Provide regular reports as required. Maintain clear, accurate individual records, which are accessible to people using services within the agreed policy. Personal Development, Supervision and Training Participate in regular support and supervision from line management Continuously developing professional knowledge and expertise, attending training and development events as and when required Attend and participate in regular team and other meetings, both internal and external. Attend and participate in all relevant conferences and events as requested/approved by line manager First Steps ED Policies and Procedures The post holder will be expected, at all times, to be familiar and comply with the written policies, procedures and guidelines for good practice, issued by First Steps ED. Health and Safety Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures. Take personal responsibility for own health and safety and report incidents and potential hazards as necessary.
