Summary
Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care using evidence-based guidelines. Provide medicines management, including administering regular medications and set up syringe drivers and IV medication. Maintain high standards of care delivery by working collaboratively within regulatory body standards and the Sue Ryder Quality Governance Policy. Act as an ambassador of Sue Ryder to service users and their relatives, colleagues, and members of the public. Have a good general knowledge of computer-based systems including SystmOne. Maintain all records in line with policies and procedures. Support students on placement at the hospice.
