Job Title: Senior Care Worker / Team Leader for EBD Residential Children's Home

Package

Salary: £31,706 – £33,840 p.a. (Including an average of 7 Sleeping shifts per month)
Hours: 40 hrs per week + sleeping shifts + overtime offered
Our rota operates on a shift basis of 2 days on followed by 4 days off
Holidays (FTE): 32 days including Bank holidays

£60 per sleeping shift
Employee Referral Fee: £250
Ofsted Bonus: £100 (Good) or £150 (Outstanding), one-time payment upon final report publication
Annual Pay Rises: 4%, given after 12 months of work starting in April (discretionary)
Additional Birthday Annual Leave Day
Christmas Day/New Year's Day: 2x rate for all shifts on 25th December and 1st January; 1.5x rate for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
Overtime: Paid at 1.25x rate
Overtime (11 pm-7 am): Paid at 1.5x rate (Waking Night staff included)
Loyalty Bonus:
- Year 1 (12 months): £250 + 1 extra annual leave day (8 hours)
- Year 2 (12 months): £350 + 1 extra annual leave day (8 hours)
- Year 3 (12 months): £450 + 1 extra annual leave day (8 hours)
- Year 4 (12 months): £550 + 1 extra annual leave day (8 hours)
- Year 5: £600
- Year 10: £1,250
Service Description

Small EBD Residential Children’s Home for children 11-17 years.
Job Purpose

To assist the Manager in providing a high-quality service for children and young people requiring care.
To lead by example and maintain good professional practices.
To take responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of our children and young people while on duty.
To ensure all children have a plan, risk assessment, behaviour management plan, and any other necessary plans.
To lead shift plans and weekly plans, guiding and supporting staff to implement them.
Person Specification

Experience: Experience working within a childcare setting, experience with traumatised children and those with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner /Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
