Summary

SEMH Teaching Assistant Jobs

Tick Education have been approached by one of their SEMH schools in Northampton to secure several SEMH Teaching Assistants. These roles are Temp to perm, so for 12 working weeks you will be employed by Tick and will then go onto contract with the school. For this role the day rate will be £100.

In this role, you will be responding to the needs of Individuals and helping them flourish and thrive. You will be a role model that will inspire and empower the students to progress in their lessons.

The ideal candidate will:
• Basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
• Some knowledge of strategies in working with young people with challenging behaviours & SEMH.
• Assist the class teacher.
• Competent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Have life skills.
• Be able to work one to one with pupils.
