We carry out insurance works in Essex, Suffolk and London and have vacancies for self employed experienced all rounder subcontractors to complete work in domestic properties and public buildings. We primarily deal with subsidence works, but also cover general construction work.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled labourer to join our team. As a skilled labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction sites and other projects. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Perform general labour duties such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Operate hand and power tools as needed
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Experience in construction or a related field is preferred
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
