Summary
VACANCY:
Cleaning Supervisor 17 hours per week
Monday - Friday 1430 - 1800
LOCATION:
Park Lane Academy, Exley Halifax
REPORTING TO:
Premises Manager/Management Team.
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
To deliver a consistently high standard of customer service which meets the contract specification and maintain costs within the prescribed budget Delivering the exceptional every day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service Delivery
-To ensure that the cleaning specification is fully implemented and adhered to.
-To ensure that a consistently high standard of cleaning service is delivered in accordance with the work schedule.
-To build customer relationships and ensure satisfaction with the cleaning service.
-To ensure that all site personnel comply with customer service / satisfaction systems.
-To ensure all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a timely and effective manner and that the client is kept fully informed of what action has/is being taken.
-To be a working supervisor to work on area's to cover absence.
Team Management
-To recruit Operatives with the assistance of the Premises Manager.
-To train Operatives in cleaning tasks and health & safety issues relating to their job.
-To monitor and review the performance of Operatives to ensure high standards are delivered and maintained and provide training and coaching as required.
-To report any disciplinary matters to the Premises Manager
-To control and reduce labour turnover by ensuring the retention of good staff.
-To review the running of the contract to identify ways in which the productivity can be improved whilst maintaining cleaning standards.
-To ensure that payroll and signing in procedures are strictly adhered to.
-To ensure that all Company and Site rules are fully complied with for security purposes.
-To communicate Company and Branch information to cleaning Operatives.
-To ensure that the Company Health and Safety Policy is properly implemented and adhered to.
Administrative Responsibility
-To identify and take corrective action on variations to budget hours with the direction of the Premises Manager.
-To ensure that all Applicant Starter Forms are fully completed, are bona-fide and passed to the Premises Manager without delay in order to take up references.
-To ensure that payroll information is provided on time and accurately according to Company procedure and within budget.
-To record all training of Operatives and maintain training records as it occurs.
-To maintain the Site Personnel Records in accordance with the requirements of the client.
-To report all accidents and incidents as per the accident reporting procedure to the Premises Manager and have the appropriate documentation completed.
-To report all equipment failures to the Premises Manager and treat such equipment in accordance with Company procedures
-To advise the Premises Manager of all cleaning material requirements allowing sufficient time for delivery before stocks run out.
-To maintain the Induction training Information Manual with periodic updates as instructed from time to time
-To ensure that all Company Policies and Procedures are fully implemented, adhered to and communicated.
