We are currently seeking a Deputy Manager for a well-regarded Children's home in Derby. This facility accommodates EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children and young people in a four-bedded setting. Our client is an established and growing independent children's service provider with a strong reputation in the Midlands area.

Responsibilities for the Deputy Manager role include:
•Collaborating with the manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the home
•Managing the home in the absence of the Manager
•Ensuring a high standard of care for the children and young people
•Conducting reviews and meetings
•Facilitating effective induction for all staff and providing supervision, mentorship, and assessment for trained staff
The ideal candidate for the Deputy Manager position will have:
Recent experience in a senior/team leader or deputy manager role within children's residential care
Completed NVQ/QCF Level 3 diploma in leadership for health and social care, children, and young people's services
We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care for young people. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, taking on broad responsibilities for the service and contributing to the development of individuals and the team while ensuring effective quality standards are implemented.
