A rare and unique role has arisen for a Registered Manager to work in a medium service based in York, close to the City Centre. The home provides residential care for younger adults and older people who have a learning disability. It is centrally located and close to local transport links and easy access from the local areas.
You will be responsible for the running of the home whilst building and maintaining excellent relationships with outside agencies and local authorities. My client is looking for somebody that has existing experience of working with a Learning Disabilities client group and challenging behaviour experience is also desirable.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the home ensuring that targets are achieved whist providing the highest standards of care. As a result, knowledge of budgeting, marketing and resource management is an essential requirement and well as the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Skills and experience for the role of Registered Manager:
• Commitment to delivering high quality care
• Previous managerial experience in a similar environment
• Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
