Part time - 30 hours per week (9pm - 7am - Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

We're currently seeking a Female Waking Night Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Newmarket, Suffolk. In this part-time position, you'll be providing essential support to a wonderful woman, helping her live her best life.

What You'll Do:

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll have a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of the individuals in your care during nighttime hours. Some of your key responsibilities may include:

- Providing attentive support to individuals throughout the night, including assistance with personal needs, medication administration, and any other required tasks.

- Conducting regular checks on individuals to ensure they are safe and comfortable, and addressing any needs or concerns that may arise during the night.

- Maintaining accurate records of observations, incidents, and interactions during your shift, and ensuring that all relevant information is documented.

- Collaborating with other team members, including daytime support staff, healthcare professionals, and family members, to ensure continuity of care.

- Creating a calm and supportive environment for individuals during the night, offering comfort, reassurance, and companionship as needed.

We offer comprehensive induction and training, including support to obtain the Care Certificate. While primarily working nights, you may be required to workday shifts during your induction and certain training periods.

What You Need:

- Previous experience in a similar role.

- A compassionate and caring nature.

- Excellent communication skills.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
