This opening assignment is for 3 months

Basic DBS disclosure required

Based in Waltham forest covering multiple trades (e17,e10,e11,e16,e4, e8, e5) Also will be requested into areas some days

Assist the Repairs and Maintenance Operations in the smooth delivery of a quality customer focused service.

The candidate will ensure that they are organised to work under pressure to carry out evaluation of tasks undertaken by the trades team and carry out a multiple quality inspections and works surveys to properties within a wide geographical area. You will be required to manage and maintain excellent quality standards ensuring a quality customer focused service to exceed service level requirements and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety and managing commercial completions ensuring all notes, certification and images are maintained as part of an application in line with the employers requirements.

You will have a varied workload carrying out multiple visits to properties throughout multiple locations when carrying out responsive repairs inspections along with the management of quality delivered within the working areas.

Key responsibilities:

Analyse reports and systems data to identify areas of focus required
Assisting the Customer Feedback Team investigating/resolving complaints and identifying & implementing lessons learnt.
Ensure compliance will all business policies and procedures
Carrying out onsite and desk top post inspections of works carried out by workforce and subcontractors ready for handover.
Providing people related advise and support to direct labour and Planning team.
Work with planning team, direct labour and sub-contactors to ensure that the best use of resources is achieved
Work closely with supply chain partners to deliver the best possible service
Ensure that all works are carried out safely and to an excellent quality standard
Maintain the corporate image and service standards
Maintain strong communication with residents to at all times

Qualifications:

Trade City & Guilds/ NQV qualification
Asbestos Awareness Training
Full UK driving License
SSSTS - desirable

Knowledge:

Excellent IT knowledge

Experience:

Experience from either Site Management or possess strong Trade background within a repairs and maintenance environment and will be experienced in workforce management.
Minimum of 5 years experience.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
Ability to work on own initiative
