UK Central Engineering Administrator / Coordinator (Engineering) – Bakkavor
Monday to Friday Days 8.30am-17.00pm (flex as per business needs)
Location: Bakkavor Spalding with hybrid working (1 to 2 days Spalding Head Office with remote working available)
Salary: £30,000

The Role

This is a new and exciting role for a UK Central Engineering Coordinator (Engineering) to be responsible creating and maintaining Engineering Documentation for Bakkavor Central Engineering, creating and implementing processes and best ways of working, and providing the team with administrative support.

Duties and responsibilities


- Contribute to and prepare presentations and departmental reports, internal performance reports, asset management plans, reports to specific regulators and certifying bodies.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation for Central Engineering
- Support the administration of team members in the delivery of engineering technical competence.
- Collation of information to support food and drink internal and external audits.
- Proficiency of filing and paper management including the ability to manage business correspondence and confidential information.
- Support the CMMS procurement process and follow up any reconciliation.
- Support the logistics and procurement of component parts for food and drink processing and packaging assets.
- Support the selection of external suppliers, the setting of objectives for suppliers and performance measurement of suppliers.
- Administer internal and external resources, meetings, hotel bookings, Concur reconciliation, schedule appointments and document discussion content.
- Contribute to technical performance reviews in collaboration with other functions and stakeholders.
- Managing departmental inventory.
- Organising meetings, scheduling appointments, and overseeing catering during company events.
- Performing data entry roles, including updating records and databases for personnel, financial and legal information.
- Managing inventory of office supplies, including stationery and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operations.
- Raising orders, monitoring budgets, checking progress, receipting in, and approving payment.
- Prepare inventories for employee and team events.
- Maintains and manages the use of key engineering systems and reports such as Agility, Power BI, Trend building management system, RS Industrial room temperature monitoring systems and others as needed.

Qualifications / Experience;


- Functional Skills: Level 2
- in Maths & English at grade C or above*, achieve within 24 months. (*or equivalent).
- Business Administration Level 3 LARS Code 196 (Desirable)
- Food Safety Qualification (Level 2, achieve within 12 months)
- Use of and application of SharePoint, MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (Mandatory)
- Proficiency in electronic and paper filing and management, including the ability to manage business correspondence and the ability to handle confidential information (Mandatory)
