Summary
Title: Assembly Operative / Production Assembler The Best Connection are currently seeking Assembly Operatives for a Manufacturer of electrical products in the Telford area.
Pay £11.56 to £12.06 depending on grade with overtime available, paid at time and a third, half and double, depending on the circumstances.
Working Hours 7:00 to 16:15 Monday to Thursday; 7:00 to 11:00 on Friday
Breaks 10 minutes in the morning, 30 minute lunch and 10 minutes in the afternoon.
Responsibilities of the Assembly Operatives Working in a busy and fast pace environment. Using power tools to assemble the items Being able to read drawings. Work to a specific speed to achieve the businesses takt-time to build the products Quality checks Working within a team environment House Keeping Inductions will be required to work on the site: this involves a numeracy and literacy test and due to assembling electrical components which has a number of different coloured items; a colour sight test will also be given.
Requirements of the Assembly Operatives Attention to detail. Being able to use power tools Good accuracy and organisational skills. Ability to work to target. Good communication skills Standing on your feet all day
