Summary

We have a rare opportunity to develop your leadership and managerial skills as Clinical Operational Manager for our Home Enteral Nutrition and Oncology Dietetics Teams.

You will have managerial and clinical experience at band 7 level which you will build on to lead and manage both teams through their next phase of development.

The role requires at least 30 hours, and is available up to 37.5 hours across Monday to Friday. We are able to support flexible working options.

There is an adult directorate on-call element. Strong relationships exist with neighbouring Trusts and enteral feeding contract suppliers which you will need to maintain and develop.

There will be a need to innovate and bring the two dietetic teams closer together, and to ensure support to team members, and appropriate care is provided to all patients, as both caseloads continue to grow in complexity and number.

A strong clinical background and experience in HEN or Oncology is essential, desirable to have both as you will have occasional clinical contact. You will also provide clinical supervision to team members whose patients often have complex care needs and ensure policies and procedures are in place to support best practice and ways of working. Support will be gained from Head of Service and peers within Rehabilitation and Therapies Services.

You will need to be able to work from home and also attend meetings at any sites within East or West Kent.
