Summary

Housing Officer

Brent, London

Up to £32,000 per annum

Hyde has a vacancy for a Housing Officer.

Resident Services work closely with our customers, providing housing services, housing management and first-class customer care.

As a Housing Officer you will be working to provide an effective housing service to all of our residents within our Brent PFI contracts.

Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer

Manage properties as part of specialist team, managing a contract with Brent council
Act as an advocate for customers on housing management issues and liaise with relevant departments to explore appropriate resolutions
Ensure the prompt inspection, viewing and sign up of all void properties
Undertake tenancy visits and inspections to properties
Facilitate access properties for the heating and repairs teams to ensure they can carry out all repairs and gas safety inspections
Attend forced entries
Deal sensitively with vulnerable residents and refer cases to appropriate support providers
Present cases for court action and represent at court, liaising with solicitors where appropriate
Skills and Experience Required

Experience of working in a similar customer focused role
Strong knowledge of social housing
Proficient IT Skills
