Summary

Menzies Distribution are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Normanton, Wakefield.

The Details

• Normanton, Wakefield, WF6 2UA
• Full-time, Permanent
• 4 On /4 Off Days
• Hours: 06:00-18:00
• Salalry: £30,717.00 Per Annum

Warehouse Supervisor duties:

• Establish, monitor and maintain agreed performance levels for all warehouse activity
• Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
• Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
• Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported, ensuring efficient flows of stock
• Ensuring efficient and effective delivery and implementation of all aspects of Clients operational requirements
• Organising Training activities/scheduling
• Effectively controlling goods in and goods out
• Quality Control
• Maintain a safe working environment which complies with aspects of the company H&S procedures & enrivomental control
• Monitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse/related activity
• Reporter of issues found within the warehouse to complete to the end
• Follow the daily schedule and ensure loads are completed in line with the booking and targets
• Daily Team Briefing
• Manage temporary labour and their hours daily



Warehouse Supervisor requirements:

• Good spoken and written communication skills
• A professional manner
• Supervisor / Man Management.
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• MHE – Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses preferable
