Summary

Equans is looking for a Part Time Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Taunton Magistrates Court, TA1 4AX on a permanent basis working 10 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11.94 per hour and benefits package.

Shift times : Monday to Friday 1600 to 1800

What will you deliver?

You will lead and motivate the cleaning team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness across the site. You'll undertake cleaning tasks, both planned and reactive, throughout the building using correct equipment and methods and will organise cover for sickness/annual leave.

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential. please visit - government baseline personnel security standard

In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government which goes through several checks.

These checks typically include:

  • Identity - e.g. Passport, but full list of Government Forms of ID listed here
  • employment history (past 3 years) If there are any gaps, then will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
  • right to work status in the UK
  • unspent criminal record.
  • any significant periods (6+ months in the past 3 years) of time spent abroad.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience of industry/public cleaning services (essential)
  • Previous experience of supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations (essential)
  • COSHH Knowledge (desirable)
  • Able to instruct others on the use of cleaning materials and equipment
