Summary


We are recruiting for a Clinical Support Worker Renal St Albans Unit who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Renal service is recognised as a specialist referral centre for renal medicine serving most of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and parts of Essex.

The department of renal medicine is located across five sites . However, you may be required to work on a permanent or temporary basis elsewhere within East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.

In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,192 and a maximum payment of £2,011 .

You will need to Communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with the multidisciplinary team, patients and their family, visitors and carers

Assist nursing staff in maintaining patients well-being and dignity in a safe environment and in maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity

Involve patients and carers/relatives in the delivery of care and provide reassurance and support to patients and carers/family

Understand and adhere to all relevant trust policies and procedures

Work under Registered Nurse to develop the knowledge and skills required to assist in caring for renal haemodialysis patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
