Summary

Are you an experienced Chef eager to showcase your culinary talents in a vibrant team environment?

Our clients thriving hotel, pub, and leisure business in the heart of Snowdonia near Capel Curig, Conwy is seeking a temporary Chef with a knack for creativity in the kitchen. If you're passionate about creating delicious and beautifully presented dishes from local ingredients and have availability for the next couple of weeks, then this could be for you!

In the Chef role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking amazing meals from locally sourced ingredients
  • Preparing and delivering fresh food to the highest standard of quality and consistency
  • Working on a variety of stations
  • Maintaining Health and Safety, Food Hygiene Standards and all COSHH regulations
  • Ensuring kitchen equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and stored

    We would love to see your CV if you have:

    • Prior chef experience preparing meals from fresh ingredients
    • A keen eye of detail, able to maintain consistency and preparing food to a high standard
    • The ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • To be committed and reliable with good communication skills
    • High food hygiene standards

      This is a temporary full-time position with an ASAP start for approximately 1 – 2 weeks initially. Working hours are typically 12.00 (midday) until 10pm five days a week (will include weekends). In return you will receive an hourly pay rate of £12.00 - £15.00 negotiable depending on your skills and experience plus accrued holiday pay whilst on assignment. Own transport will be helpful as the location and hours are difficult on the public transport route.
