Summary

Shalford Infant & Nursery School is a small, friendly, village school with just 114 pupils, on the outskirts of Guildford, within easy reach of the A3.
We are looking to recruit a nursery teaching assistant to join our professional, vibrant and supportive team. We are looking for someone to work with the class teacher to ensure that all children in the nursery receive the highest standard of education and care.Your role will be:To support the Nursery teacher with their responsibilities for the development and education of children, including those with special needsTo use routine supervision and care skills, including nappy changing, to support pupils, including those who have physical, medical, emotional, or educational needs as requiredTo prepare the learning environment and carry out daily checksTo be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their familiesAt Shalford Infant & Nursery School we will be able to offer you:An experienced, supportive Nursery TeacherChildren who are eager to learn and rewarding to teachA hard working team of people who are committed to providing the best education for our childrenA commitment to the wellbeing of both children and staff.

Salary Grade 3: £16,997 - £17,401 Working hours: 8.30am - 3.20pm Monday to Friday (inclusive of a 20 min unpaid break). 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks a year, plus 3 INSET Days.We recommend a visit to the school prior to application, please telephone the school office to arrange a visit.
