If you are, then Day Care Services may be for you. Based in the brand-new Oak Cancer Centre, the Olayan Day Care Unit is looking for an administration assistant/scheduler. The unit is a busy day care facility, providing care and support to patients with a wide variety of cancers. The unit will offer a pleasant environment to ensure comfort and a relaxed setting throughout the patient’s pathway. We are committed to providing the highest quality care and maintaining consistently high standards in a professional and friendly atmosphere.
• We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys the challenges and advantages of working in a friendly team in a day care setting. The role is busy, and you need to be able to work under pressure with the help of other members of the team.

• Appointments, scheduling and capacity management
• To deal with all new patient chemotherapy referrals from clinicians, ensuring that the first chemotherapy treatment is scheduled within Cancer Waiting Times targets.
• To liaise directly with the patient regarding their treatment, providing information and reassurance and managing patient expectations around the Day care unit experience.
• To liaise with the clinical teams and nursing staff to prioritise the scheduling of new referrals.
• To schedule all chemotherapy/supportive treatment on the Day Care Unit in line with local guidelines and protocols.
