Summary


The pharmacy department within Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust are looking forBand 7 pharmacist colleagues who are enthusiastic and keen to develop their skills. We are looking for pharmacists who are willing to work in different environments and thrive on the variety of work a community Trust brings. We are also looking for applicants who are keen to take time with patients in our community hospital work to optimise patients’ medication, taking a patient focused approach to care.
We really hope you will consider applying to this role if you’re adaptable, work well both in a team as well as lone working where necessary. You will also be able to develop your clinical skills and qualities needed in order to excel in the band 7 pharmacist role.

You will also be given the opportunity to complete the clinical diploma and independent prescribing course if you have not already done so. If you’re willing there’s opportunity to enhance your knowledge to develop the skills needed to excel in areas the role and receive training to become a Clinical Pharmacist with a focus on frailty.

As part of a team of Clinical Pharmacists and technicians you will be responsible for providing safe and effective medicines optimisation services to agreed community hospital sites. In addition, you will provide pharmaceutical advice to a range of specialist services.

You will develop an expertise in the optimisation of medicines in frailty, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that we achieve the best medicines related outcomes for the patients we serve.

You will be surprised at the wide range of services and healthcare professionals and what linkswe have working with acute Trusts, GPs PCNs and multidisciplinary teams.
