Summary

Deputy Manager - 5 bed EBD Home (16+Accomodation and Residential Services)

Location: Thornton Heath

Salary: £18.14 per hour, sleep in's paid at £70.50 per night

We are seeking candidates who:

Qualifications: Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce + Hold or willing to enrol in a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.

Experience: At least one years of supervisor experience (TL or Deputy) within a children’s home with a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

Child-Centred Approach: Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people, with a child-centred approach and a focus on promoting their well-being and development.

Regulatory Compliance: Have knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety requirements within a residential childcare setting.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Resilience: Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, demonstrating resilience and professionalism at all times.
