It’s an exciting time to join the AXA Commercial team, as we undergo significant growth across our branches to support the overall strategic business plan. We're currently looking to strengthen the team and bring to market the opportunity to join us a Senior Fleet Underwriter working on both new and existing business.
The role encompasses many opportunities to contribute to the development and success of the branch account, not just from a growth and profitability perspective but driving service excellence to our customers. The team ensure close collaboration is supported internally across the teams to be set up for success, as well as engaging and building key relationships with the brokers and panel aligned business developers.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 60% of your week away from home, either at our office locations in Reading or Southampton, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing:
As Senior Fleet Underwriter you’ll help drive and transform how we partner our broker portfolios, through responsive, flexible, and collaborative relationships. With a strong balance of technical and trading capability, you’ll be empowered to make decisions, supported by data, insight, and decision support tools on mobile technology to succeed. You’ll be focused on developing and delivering profitable growth, through our existing book of business, as well as contributing to the acquisition of new business.
Underwrite new and existing Mid-Market business profitably, accurately, consistently and in line with established underwriting practices, using the full range of tools available.
Build trading relationships with brokers, through visits and large case liaison, to maximise financial results and to generate pipeline new business opportunities.
Contribute to meetings with brokers and end customers to portray AXA capabilities and secure new business opportunities.
