17.5 hours per week
Permanent
£27,853 - £28,455 pro rata / £15.26 - £15.59 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)

We are looking for a well organised individual to ensure efficient provision of our registration service. You will work on an individual basis as well as part of a small team.
You will provide a high quality customer focused service, including telephone, face to face and electronic methods.

You must be able to handle sensitive situations in a calm and discreet manner.
It is essential that you have experience in a customer focused role ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Knowledge of standard computer software packages is essential.

You are required to hold a Certificate of Competence in Registration Law and Practice, or ability to achieve this within three years of commencing in post.

You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.

This post is subject to Basic Disclosure Scotland clearance.
