Summary

The Linx International Group (part of the Mitie Group) is a dynamic and agile business providing a comprehensive range of security, risk management, investigation and training services and solutions. The Group comprises Perpetuity Training and Tavcom Training, offering world class security management and technical security training programmes both in the UK and internationally.

We are recruiting for a Full Time Sales/Account Manager, reporting and dually working across the PerpetuityArc and Tavcom brands.

(Prior knowledge of the security industry is desired but not essential as full training on our brands and products will be given).

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support and liaison with internal order-processing staff.

-Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database.

-Working with the Marketing function, plan and deliver direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, course product mix and timescales.

-Facilitate direct email marketing to key accounts by main market sectors, MOD, Police, Government Departments, Local Authorities and multi-national organisations etc.

-Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone, MS Teams and personal visits.

-Monitor and report on sales activities and provide relevant management information as required.

-Carry out market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys.

-Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions as necessary to perform duties.

-Attend trade shows

-Occasional oversea travel

-Attend training courses to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Required background and skills.

-Sales & Marketing experience

-Results focused and highly motivated, dedicated to the team, but comfortable working independently and exercising own initiative

-Excellent attention to detail

-Strong relationship-building

-Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

-Competence with Microsoft Office tools

-Knowledge of a second language beneficial but not essential

-Full driving licence
