Summary

Highline Roadmarkings Ltd is a family-owned Road Marking Company based in CM3, Chelmsford established in 1994.
We Provide Roadmarkings to Essex, Suffolk, Kent, London and surrounding areas.

Job Role
As the successful candidate, you will safely perform a variety of tasks associated with the installation, removal, and maintenance of thermoplastic and cold applied road traffic markings and studs.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Cscs Card (desirable but not essential)
• Can work independently and within a team.
• has the right to work in the UK
• has a full, and Valid UK driving licence.
• can commute to and from our depot in their own transport.
• holds an HGV licence (desirable but not essential)
• is hardworking, reliable, committed with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our team.
• has the flexibility to work outside of normal working hours, and is able to work overnight if required.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Drive, operate and maintain paint/thermoplastic equipment for application on parking areas, Highways, and roadways and Industrial Estate.
• Measuring and marking out
• Prepping and priming surfaces
• Check performance of the numerous components of various marking equipment including air compressor, auxiliary engines, pumps, heaters, hydraulic systems, paint/thermoplastic/air/water and hydraulic lines; troubleshoot equipment failures and report unresolved problems to assigned staff.
• Operate and maintain hot (200+degrees) thermoplastic equipment for the application of various pavement markings.
• Operate and maintain thermal lances for the removal of thermoplastic road markings.
• Drive, operate and maintain line marking pram and equipment for applying hot (200+ degree) thermoplastic material.
• Operate and assist in the operation of vehicles, trailers, and equipment, to include backup driving operations.
• Perform manual labour, including the use of hand tools and operating various equipment; drive utility trucks daily; load and unload equipment supplies and materials.
• Ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures.
