Summary

This role is key to support the continued delivery of an ambitious programme of growth as part of Provide Wellbeing’s contribution to the Provide Community Group’s growth aspirations.

This role is an integral part of the Provide Wellbeing team, directly supporting the Business Development Manager to achieve Provide Wellbeing’s ambitions. The postholder will promote the vision and values of Provide Wellbeing and ensure that they demonstrate those values in both their behaviours and how they support our teams to deliver our services. The Business Development Project Officer will be passionate, highly motivated and driven by business growth and ideally have an understanding of business development within the healthcare sector. The postholder would have experience of supporting projects and have a passion and enthusiasm to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The postholder will be a team player, confident, compassionate, and resilient and have the ability to support multiple projects and challenging deadlines, along with an awareness of how to manage competing organisational demands.

Working closely with the Business Development Manager and members of the wider Provide Wellbeing team, the postholder will work proactively and positively to support the delivery of commercial and business development opportunities and will be integral to all aspects of new and existing service development.

• Communicating with key stakeholders both internal and external via liaison with the Marketing Team to ensure consistency of on-brand messaging using appropriate media and communication channels.
• Supporting the delivery of strategic objectives of the service and to actively participate in planning business development initiatives.
• Supporting and maintaining records, systems and processes, to aid business development and growth initiatives.
• To update data that feeds through to the service’s PowerBI dashboard.
• To provide regular information and data returns and reports as required and with the support of the Data & Compliance Manager, ND Service Manager, Surgery General Manager and other Service Leads, to collate information and analyse data for internal and external monitoring as per service specification (local and national) requirements.
• Organising and supporting externally facing engagement events with key stakeholders.
• Working with the Marketing Team to develop and expand the service’s marketing collateral.
• Researching and highlighting appropriate conferences, networks, engagement events for the service to attend/present at.
• Providing confidential administrative support and communicating, receiving, relaying and managing highly complex, sensitive information. Maintaining Action Point Registers and chasing actions through to fruition to ensure deadlines are met.
• Creating and maintaining records of contracts awarded and their associated renewal dates. Gathering information of when contracts are due to be recommissioned and highlighting new business/income opportunities to the senior management team.
• Managing Provide Wellbeing’s business email account and taking appropriate action on incoming communication.
• To be responsible for specific functions within the service as agreed with the senior leadership team.
• Any other tasks as requested by the senior leadership team.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver against Provide Wellbeing objectives, achieving quality outcomes, prioritising own workload.
• Compliance with standard processes and procedures
• Contribute to service development through constructive contribution at team meetings etc.
• Any other tasks as required that are commensurate with the role as delegated by management.
