We have an exciting opportunity for a Administrator – Family Support Team to join our team at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby, child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or who have been bereaved. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, we support families across Surrey, north-west London and south-west London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant charity as we deliver our For Every Family Strategy.
We need an experience administrator who will work at our Children’s Hospice in Hampton five days a week.
This role will support our busy Family Support Team whose members include Counsellors, Therapists and Family Support Workers.
We require previous experience in an administrative role and excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively yet sympathetically with the parents/carers of life limited children, bereaved families, and other professionals.
