Unqualified Learning Support Assistant

Location: South Tyneside

Protocol Education are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 in a Secondary School in South Tyneside. This is a full time role and will involve working with a child with SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) or SEN Needs (Special Educational Needs).

Experience in this kind of work is preferable and should be clearly shown on your CV along with any training for the role you may have completed.

This is a rewarding role, but it can also be tough, so you would need to be resilient and self-reflective. You also need excellent communication skills, patience and the ability to demonstrate empathy for the situation of the child you are supporting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
